We recently delivered a 40-ton capacity vertical double-jaw coil tong to one of the leading steel service centers operating in Turkey. Weighing 9800 kg, this specially engineered tong allows for the safe and efficient handling of flat steel coils up to 2200 mm in diameter and 1550 mm in length.
Manufactured from high-strength components, the tong is specifically designed for vertical coil lifting operations. With this equipment, our customer can safely feed flat coils directly into annealing furnaces, enhancing both safety and workflow efficiency. Certified under FEM A7 classification, the tong is built to withstand up to 1,000,000 handling cycles.
