The FIFA World Cup, to be held in Qatar between November 20 and December 18, 2022, will bring football fans from all over the world together. Hosting several key matches up to the quarter-final stage, the Al Thumama Stadium will stand out with its modern architecture and advanced engineering solutions.

In this prestigious project, Tekbem provided critical material and service support for the stadium’s construction. Working with the main contractors TEKFEN – AL JABER and subcontractor Eversendai, we supplied high-strength steel materials and took an active role in both manufacturing and installation processes.

Our contribution to this globally significant stadium project was not limited to material supply; we also offered technical solutions and on-site installation services.

The materials and services provided by Tekbem for the project included:

• Supply of 30 tons of angle frame used in steel structure manufacturing
• Supply of anchors and bolts used in steel roof installation
• Supply of 240 tons of chequered plate for catwalk manufacturing
• Supply and installation of 2,480 m² stainless steel safety nets for catwalk safety
• Supply and installation of 2,650 meters of stainless steel zigzag-type horizontal lifeline on the stadium roof
