One of the most important cement manufacturers in Azerbaijan, Gazakh Cement, made an investment decision targeting to increase its clinker production capacity from 2500 TDP to 3300 TDP. The designed new clinker unit used flat steels for the cross connections of supporting steelwork. With our recommendation, this was revised to use M30 tension rods instead of flat steel which allowed the steelwork to become lighter. With the support of Susvi Company of Germany, we have supplied these tension rods from our business partner Macalloy of the U.K.
