We continue to supply crane under-the-hook lifting equipment to Turkey’s leading iron and steel producers.
Together with our Italian business partner Slingofer, which stands out with its experience, quality and value to its customers, we supplied a total of four horizontal coil tongs with lifting capacities of 35 tons each to one of the leading companies in the iron and steel industry.
Our tongs are custom-made per the demands of our customer to provide ease of use in the application.
To prevent coil openings that may occur in horizontal coil handling applications, Slingofer has come up with a solution with a jacking device that presses the coil from the top. These tongs are also equipped with a laser system and temperature warning sensors.
In addition, the supplied tongs are manufactured with certain sensitivity criteria to ensure that the final packaged products can be transported without damage.
