One of the leading producers in the iron and steel industry, our valued customer decided to replace the outdated magnet system on one of their existing cranes, following their long-standing satisfaction with the magnets we had previously supplied for their rolling mill. The project was successfully completed under the expertise of TEKBEM, in collaboration with our Italian partner, GIDA Magnets.

The work began with the safe dismantling of the existing system. Afterwards, the newly supplied magnets and control systems from GIDA Magnets were installed on-site, and all commissioning processes were carried out flawlessly. With the new setup, three magnets mounted under the crane’s lifting beam enable the secure and efficient handling of both steel billets and round bar bundles. The system allows for the safe transport of up to seven billets at once.
