Together with our Italian business partner GIDA, we continue to supply crane magnets used in rolling mills.
Magnetic lifting systems, which have become increasingly important for occupational health and safety standards, are now frequently used in rolling mills. Our products, renowned for their high quality and safety, are also being chosen by rolling mills.
We have integrated magnetic lifting systems into our customer’s cranes, which are used with slings. Each system consists of 4 magnets, each with a power of 6 kW. With these installed systems, 4 rebar bundles, each 300 mm in diameter and 12 meters in length, can now be safely transported.
Given that rebars coming out of the rolling mill are still hot after the cutting and bundling process, our magnets are designed to operate at high temperatures. They are also suitable for hot billet lifting. The installation and commissioning services for the magnets were provided by the Tekbem team, and training on their use was given to the entire rolling mill staff following commissioning.
