One of the leading geotechnical construction companies in the Middle East has successfully completed a key phase of a large-scale infrastructure project in Kuwait. As part of the road and ground improvement works, reinforced concrete piles were produced and subjected to critical performance tests. In collaboration with our UK-based partner Macalloy, we supplied high-strength PT bars that played a crucial role in these tests.
A total of 40 Macalloy 1030 PT bars, each measuring 5500 mm in length and M50 in diameter, were delivered to the project. These PT bars were used during the stress testing of the reinforced concrete piles and yielded highly successful results.
Thanks to the exceptional tensile strength and reliability of the Macalloy 1030 PT bars, an essential requirement in ground reinforcement applications was successfully met. These bars performed excellently under challenging site conditions, contributing significantly to the safety and structural integrity of the project, while also offering a valuable engineering advantage to the contractor.
This successful implementation in Kuwait once again highlights the value of international cooperation in delivering reliable, high-quality, and engineering-compliant solutions for technical infrastructure projects.
