We continue to modernize Turkey’s leading Iron and Steel Rolling Mills with GIDA magnetic lifting equipment. Approximately 8 tons of material is able to transport safely with magnets, each magnet has a power of approximately 4.5 kW. Depending on the length of the bundles, our magnetic system is suitable to be used as triple or quadruple. In order not to slow down the operation speed, all magnet connections are planned as sockets. In addition, the same magnets are designed to safely carry billets of 150×150 and 200×200 sections at 500˚C temperatures.
