With our Italian business partner GIDA SRL, we have added a new one to our references of rebar bundles lifting magnets.
With the magnetic system comprised of 4 electromagnets of 5kW each, 4 rebar bundles 12m in length and 250mm in bundle diameter are carried safely. Our magnets have been manufactured to lift hot rebars that come out of the rolling mill, cut and made into bundles. These magnets have teeth that allow tighter stockpiling of rebar bundles. Tekbem has both supplied and commissioned 2 magnetic systems for 2 separate cranes that became operational again in just one day.
