Architectural Tension Ropes
Tension ropes (cables) also enable architects, engineers and contractors to create technically sophisticated architecture.

In addition to offering many of the advantages also offered by tension rods, tension ropes differ from tension rods as they show very little resistance for pressure and allow nonlinear usage. Such differences, based on where they will be used, determines which product is more advantageous. While tension rope systems would be more advantageous for a long structure with many turns, tension rod systems would be more advantageous for a linear structure.
Similar to tension rod systems, tension rope systems can also be used with various connection components. Where architectural composition is not important, tension rope systems can be used by pressing and closing the end parts or directly with nuts after threading.
Like all other architectural tension systems, tension rope systems can also be used for areas of structures with tension loads instead of support elements. Depending on the area used, they can change heavy and bulky physiology of the structure and increase light transmittance and open areas.

Spiral Ropes
Spiral ropes are built up with independent layers of helically arranged wires. The spiral strand ropes are exclusively made with round wires. Compared to full locked coil ropes, spiral ropes are more flexible and bendable. They have various different types and uses. Structural ropes are different from industrial ropes in their chemical and mechanical properties and should not be used for same purposes.
Full Locked Coil Ropes
The full locked coil ropes also have layers with z-shaped wires. Full Locked Coil Ropes have more rigid structures and higher strengths compared to spiral ropes.
