Architectural Compression Struts
Compression struts can be used in both compression and tension. They have been designed and developed to eliminate rough look of profiles and pipes and to ensure a pleasant look combined with other tension systems used on the structure.

Compression struts are generally used for places where bidirectional loads are present such as stadium roofs, airports and shopping malls where there are large canopies to work specifically for tension due to wind load and at the same time for compression due to the weight of the structure.
Compression struts are visually similar to architectural tension systems in order to form pleasant compositions but differ from these systems as compression struts can work bidirectionally.
Each compression strut is composed of high-performance carbon steel Circular Hollow Section with a welded taper connection at each end, assembled to standard fork ends via threaded studs. Forks are connected directly to gusset plate welded on the steel structure. The threaded fork end connection enables the compression strut to be adjusted in length. The nominal strut adjustment length is +/- 50 mm.

- Can be used in compression, tension and also reverse loadings
- An architectural alternative to steel profiles
- Adjustable system, allowing for site anomalies
- Ease of installation
- Circular shape creating optimum strength
