Magnetic Drums
Magnetic drums are used in recycling plants and mining industry. Magnetic drums are designed for using at the end of conveyor belts used for separating small and mid-sized ferrous metals. The thickness of the conveyor belt needs to be less than 80mm in order for the separation to be efficient.

Recycling plants, vehicle demolition plants, steel mills, mining, plastics, paper and wood industries, feed and fertilizers industry, etc.
Properties
Magnetic drums are very durable and functional. They do not require maintenance and never lose magnetic power.
Operating Principle
When the materials on the conveyor belt approach the magnetic drum, ferrous materials are drawn by the magnetic field and stick on the magnetic drum. Non-ferrous materials are transferred to one place and ferrous materials are transferred to a separate place by the magnetic drum.
