Sheet Pack Tongs
These tongs are designed to lift and handle sheets packs from their horizontal sides. The tong is placed beyond the long sheet side and it hooks the sheet by means of leg closing.
Electromechanical System: Tong’s operation depends on a rack mechanism. The pinion is fed by a motorized worm gear box. The rack is integral with the gripping legs. This mechanism allows the opening and closing of the tong.
They are usually used in hard workplaces marked by burdensome working conditions and hard handling. They can be thought for all industrials applications in every kind of environment. They are usually used in steelmills, rolling mills and harbours.
