Overbelt Magnets
Overbelt magnets are separators placed on conveyor belt to separate unnoticed ferrous pieces in smaller materials considered as scrap.
Place of Usage
Recycling plants, vehicle demolition plants, mining, plastics, paper and wood industry, aluminum processing facilities, etc.
Properties
Overbelt magnets can be produced according to the belt width and they have different types based on magnetic power. Overbelt magnets can be installed using adjustable lifting system. Claws on the conveyor belt help clean the line as the ferrous materials are freed from the magnetic field.
Operating Principle
Ferrous pieces inside the shredded scrap moving on the conveyor belt are separated by the overbelt magnet and transferred to a separate place.
